Nigerian Army Training Allowance For Ssc/Dssc Cadets
The Nigerian Army offers two key programs for aspiring officers: the Short Service Commission (SSC) and the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC). Both pathways are designed to train individuals who hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent to serve in specialized and leadership roles within the army. While these programs offer a shorter training period compared to the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), cadets in the SSC/DSSC also receive training allowances.
The training allowance for SSC/DSSC cadets typically ranges between ₦10,000 to ₦20,000 monthly during their 6 to 9-month training period.
