What Is True Christian Life And Holiness?
We must understand that Christianity and preaching of holiness is not just in preaching, teaching and counseling well but TRUE CHRISTIANITY ( IN ADDITION TO KEEPING AWAY FROM ALL KNOWN SINS) IS TAKING PAIN AND SACRIFICING AND DENYING ONESELF SOME COMFORT AND CONVENIENCE TO HELP PEOPLE OUT OF PROBLEMS.
It is all about doing good to our fellow human beings because Christ came to do us good and that is why he was busy helping people out of their problems. He used the parade of the good Samaritan to teach us that we must live to do good to our fellow human beings and help people out of pain and trouble.
The truth is that true love is costly because one cannot practically show love without sacrificing and denying oneself something because love is laying down one's life to save life and that's why only few believers truly walk in love and that's why also only few believers make heaven because
THERE IS NO HEAVEN FOR ANYBODY THAT DOES NOT WALK IN LOVE PRACTICALLY because Christ pointed out the need for practical love in Matt.25. 31-46 in order for a believer to be allowed to enter heaven because true and complete love is the fulfilling of all God 's commandments - Rom.13.10.
IF ONE CLAIMS TO BE A BELIEVER AND CLAIMS TO BE FREE FROM ALL KNOWN SINS BUT FAILS TO DO THE RIGHT THING THAT ONE NEEDS TO DO WHICH IS DOING GOOD TO FAILURE HUMAN BEINGS BY DEMONSTRATING PRACTICAL LOVE, THEN ONE IS STILL SINNING - 1John 4 17.
Many believers fail to understand that when the bible talks about good works, it is simply talking about doing good to fellow human beings. So if one claims to be holy and lacks good works ( practical demonstration of love) then one will still miss heaven. May God grant us understanding.
