The Benefits Of Christ Death On The Cross

THE BENEFITS OF CHRIST DEATH ON THE CROSS.

The Cross of Christ removes every curse, judgment, and evil, no matter who you are

or where you come from. We're focusing on the Cross of Christ, where He was crucified

for us. Why did He go to the Cross? So that every curse in your life could be broken.

Every form of evil, oppression, and satanic bondage the devil placed on your life is

being cancelled by the power of His Cross.

Many of us have a limited understanding

of what a curse truly is. The origin of the curse goes back to the Garden of Eden,

where God, in His love and power, created Adam and Eve to live a joyful, holy, and

blessed life. God placed Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden - healthy, holy, pure,

and perfect. Everything around them was good.

God gave them a clear command: to

reproduce after their kind and to fill the earth with joyful, holy, and healthy people.

But before they even began, the serpent came. And with his cunning words, he

questioned what God had said. That’s how many people today miss out on God's

power and miracles - they put a question mark where God has placed a full stop. Has

God said He will save you? Don’t question it. Has he said He will transform your life?

Don’t doubt it. Has he promised to heal and deliver you? Don’t second-guess Him.

The moment you put a question mark on God’s word, you open the door to unbelief,

and unbelief shuts the door to blessings.

Satan, speaking through the serpent,

deceived Eve. She doubted God's word and disobeyed His command. As a result, the

glory of God that once covered her was taken away - she became spiritually naked.

Then she gave the fruit to Adam, who also chose disobedience. He too became naked,

stripped of divine covering. When God came into the garden in the cool of the day, He

asked, “Adam, where art thou?” (Genesis 3:9). Adam was no longer in the place

God had put him - he was hiding. Today, God is still asking, ‘Where are you?’ His will

for you is clear: a life of salvation, peace, health, and total freedom.

Adam replied, “I

heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked.” Fear

came because he had lost the covering of righteousness. You may wear the finest

clothes on earth, but without the robe of righteousness, you are naked before God,

the angels, and all of heaven. God asked, “Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I

commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?” (Genesis 3:11). Instead of owning

up to his sin, Adam blamed Eve.

And Eve, in turn, blamed the serpent. Today, many

people do the same. Instead of confessing their wrong, they give excuses or shift

blame. But excuses will only lead you further away from God's presence. Make no

excuse. If you’ve sinned, admit it. Don’t blame your parents, your friends, or even the

devil. Take responsibility. Eve said, “The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.” The

end result was this: a curse came upon Adam, upon Eve, and all of humanity. From

that moment in the garden, the curse spread.

As the Israelites prepared to enter the

Promised Land, God warned them about the things that would bring curses. And

throughout the Old Testament, we see curses repeatedly coming upon people due to

sin and disobedience. But praise God, in the New Testament, we see the answer:

Jesus

Christ! He came, and He was crucified to break every curse. Every curse from God,

from Satan, from man, from tradition, from the enemy; Christ cancelled them all on

the Cross! Whatever curse may be at work in your life; whether it’s from sin, from the

enemy, from generational patterns, or disobedience, Jesus Christ, through His

crucifixion, has cancelled them all. “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of

the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that

hangeth on a tree” (Galatians 3:13). That’s the power of the Cross. Christ took your

place. The curse you should bear was borne by him. The punishment you deserved,

He suffered. He hung on that tree so that you could walk free. We have broken the

law of God, which attracted the judgment of God.

But Christ has conquered for us.

“That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus

Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith” (verse

14). This is the divine exchange. Jesus took the curse so you can receive the blessing.

He bore the pain so you can receive the promise.

1. RECOGNITION OF THE CURSES TO BE CANCELLED BY CHRIST

Deuteronomy 30:19; Proverbs 26:2; Isaiah 24:5-6; Daniel 9:10-11;

Zechariah 5:3-4

You need to recognize that every pain, sickness, suffering, deformity, and oppression

in your life is a result of the curse. Darkness, failure, and bondage are all signs of the

curse. Your sins, sickness, sorrow, and deformity are all cancelled. As you recognize

these curses and bring them before the Lord, you will also confess and possess your

freedom.:

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have

set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that

both thou and thy seed may live.” (Deuteronomy 30:19). God was speaking not

just to Israel, but to all humanity across every generation. He said, ‘I give you a

choice—life or death, blessing or curse. Therefore, choose life.’ From the beginning of

Eden, God gave Adam and Eve the same choice. But sadly, they chose the way of

death.

They chose disobedience, and with that, the curse came upon them and all

mankind. Before the fall, there was no sin, sickness, weakness, blindness, cancer, no

sorrow; everything was perfect. But the moment they sinned, death entered, and the

curse followed. And from then till now, humanity has suffered under that curse. But

praise God, Jesus came to give us life! He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the

life” (John 14:6).

Today, you have a choice. Not just with your words, but with your

actions—will you choose life or death? Will you walk in obedience or rebellion? Adam

and Eve didn’t choose with their mouths, they chose with their actions. And so must

you. Choose Christ today, and life will flow into you; eternal life, abundant life, and

heavenly life are for you. Since that time, people have continued to choose what

pleases the flesh—alcohol, drugs, immorality; things God clearly said, “Do not touch.”

But instead of obedience, they’ve chosen rebellion. Instead of life, they’ve chosen

death. Instead of blessing, they’ve opened the door to curses. And now, both Israelites

and Gentiles, men and women, young and old, are all facing the consequences of those

choices—the curse. Every sickness is a messenger of death. When death wants to

come, it sends sickness ahead like a forerunner - little by little, pushing people toward

the grave. “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I

am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more

abundantly.” (John 10:10)

Praise God, our Savior, The Giver of life has come to you.

It is our sin, our wrong choices, and our obedience to Satan that have brought us

here. But thank God, it’s not too late. You can still choose life today. Just like turning

on a light in a dark room, once you switch on the light, darkness disappears. You

don’t need to fight it; it just vanishes.

So today, switch on the true light. Bring in

Christ, the Light of the world. And every darkness of the messenger of death will

vanish away. Christ is the life. He is the way, the truth, and the life. And the only way

to the Father is through Him. When you come to Jesus, you’re stepping out of

darkness and into light, out of curse and into blessing, out of death and into eternal

life. “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for

us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the

blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we

might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” (Galatians 3:13-14). It’s

not about religion or tradition, and it’s certainly not about sacrifices, especially not

human sacrifice.

It’s not about money or the pain tied to it. No matter how much

wealth you gather, it cannot dispel this darkness. But there’s a way to break free –

switch on the light. Let the light of the world, Jesus Christ, come into your life. The

darkness will be gone today, and healing and deliverance will be yours, but you have

to choose to switch on that light.

Choose life, that both you and your family may live.

Choose life for yourself and for those around you, including your wife and children.

Make that decision today to come to Christ. Say, ‘We have suffered long enough. We

have been in pain, in sickness, and under oppression for too long. It’s time for a

change.’

When you come to Christ and truly remain in Him, no curse will ever return

to your life. “As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse

causeless shall not come.” (Proverbs 26:2). So long as you remain in Christ, free

from the past, free from sin, no curse will come back to your life.

2. REDEMPTION FROM ALL CURSES THROUGH THE CRUCIFIXION OF

CHRIST

Galatians 3:13-14; 4:4-7; Numbers 22:11-12, 23:8, 19-23; Deuteronomy 23:5

Redemption has already been provided through the crucifixion of Christ. “Christ hath

redeemed us from the curse of the law.” (Galatians 3:13). When He died on the

Cross, He took on every punishment, curse, and affliction so that you could be free.

If there are ancestral laws or curses in your family or community, don’t worry. Christ

is greater and mightier than those forces. He offers you freedom today. He calls to you,

saying, “Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give

you rest.”

Redemption, total freedom, and the salvation of the Lord are coming to

you! Triumph and power to overcome will be upon your life. No one else can call you

and promise rest, for all the people of the world are under a curse. And since they are

not free from the curse, how can they set you free?

But Christ has redeemed us from

the curse of the law, becoming a curse for us. What does this mean? He came willingly,

saying, ‘Father, I will bear their curse, I will carry their curse, I will suffer their

punishment.’ It is written, “Cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree” – and He

bore the curse for you.

Now, what can we expect? We see that “the blessing of

Abraham might come on the Gentiles” (Galatians 3:14). The blessing of Abraham

isn't only for the Jews, but for you as well. Peace of mind, forgiveness of sin, the

salvation of the Lord, healing from sicknesses, and mighty miracles are all for you.

When the Lord cancels every curse in your life and blesses you on earth, He will also

give you everlasting blessings; When you cross over to heaven, angels will carry you.

Blessing, blessing today, tomorrow, and blessings forever in heaven. When you close

your eyes here, you will open them to the blessedness of heaven. All because of Christ,

who bore our curse and took it away.

The blessing of Abraham is for you, and Christ

will call you, His friend. As a friend, He will do everything for you. The blessing of

Abraham is not just a promise that comes and goes - it reaches you wherever you are,

touching your life at this very moment. Healing will meet you where you are. Salvation

is available to you right now.

Peace of mind is on its way to you. If you've been carrying

a heavy load, the Lord will lift it and cast it away from your life at this very moment.

“That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus

Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith”.

(Galatians 3:14).

Through Christ Jesus, the blessing will extend to every Gentile,

offering the promise of salvation, total regeneration, and the Spirit through faith.

Today, decide to turn away from sin, from Satan, and all the past darkness of your

life. As you turn to Christ, the blessing and salvation will now come upon you. By

faith, confess, ‘I am now for you, Lord. I expect your salvation. I confess it and claim it.

I believe in my heart that Christ died for me and rose again. With this, I know I shall be

saved.’ “With the heart, man believes, and with the mouth, confession is made

unto salvation.” (Romans 10:10). This is your moment - salvation is yours today.

3. REMOVAL OF EVERY CURSE BY CONVERSION TO CHRIST

Isaiah 44:22; Zechariah 2:5,7-8; 1Peter 1:18-19; Colossians 1:13-14;

Psalms 103:3-5,12

When something is removed, it is gone forever. The Lord will remove your sin today.

No longer will sin push you to do evil. There will be a supernatural transformation in

your life.

The Lord will also remove every sickness and every form of suffering in your

life. Every sickness, emotional or physical pain, and suffering that has weighed you

down will be lifted by the power of Christ. Every evil force, every work of the devil, will

be destroyed in your life today. “Who forgiveth all thine iniquities” (Psalms 103:3)

The Lord wants to forgive all your iniquities. If your sins have been holding you back,

it's time to come out of hiding and repent. Confess, and the Lord will forgive all your

sins—whether secret, open, occasional, or habitual. Who health all thy diseases.

He will heal all your diseases and take away the pain of sin and sickness. The curse

will be lifted, and your life will be redeemed from destruction, “..Who redeemeth thy

life from destruction…” (Psalms 103:4).

The devil's mission is clear: he seeks to

steal, kill, and destroy. But Jesus brings a powerful message of life. He says, “I am

come that ye might have life, and that ye might have it more abundantly.”

Every form of destruction in your life is swept away by the Lord, who showers you

with loving-kindness and mercy.

As a sinner, you recognize Christ as your Savior, and

in doing so, salvation comes to you. Once you acknowledge your sins and confess

them, accepting Christ as your Savior, the moment you believe in Him, salvation is

yours. From that moment on, He begins to satisfy your needs with good things. Your

youth will be renewed like that of an eagle. Your sight and hearing will be restored,

and the joy of your salvation will return.

The guilt and shame you once carried will be

lifted because Christ brings total renewal. Every guilty feeling, every burden, every

self-condemnation will be erased. Your life will be transformed—completely changed—

so that the old life fades away and the new life in Christ will become your reality. “As

far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions

from us.” (Psalms 103:12).

As you come to Christ, all your sins and accusations of

the devil against your progress shall be removed as you confess and believe what

Christ did on the Cross. When you look to your left or right, the horizon stretches far

beyond what you can reach. No matter how far you walk, the horizon remains

unreachable, so it is with your sins.

Once you transfer your sins to Christ, they are

removed from you as far as the East is from the West. You will never see them again.

Heaven will not see them, and Satan will not see them either. This is what Christ's

sacrifice on the Cross achieves for you.

That is why the gospel is to be preached to every creature. “He that believeth and is

baptized shall be saved..” (Mark 16:16). As you believe, accept Christ as your

Savior, and salvation will be yours.

But there’s a warning: “But he that believeth

not shall be damned those who do not believe will remain under the curse”

(Mark 16:16). As long as a person continues carrying their curse, even until death,

they will continue to carry it after crossing over into the afterlife. No one can bring a

curse into heaven. If your curse isn't removed by Christ before you die, and you carry

that curse with you into eternity, you will not be able to have access to heaven.

“Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

The moment

you come to God saying, "Yes, Lord, I am the one Christ died for," He will remove your

sin, transgression, iniquity, and your guilt. He took all that upon Himself, as far as

the east is from the west. He will remove all your transgressions, and you will be

saved. You will be free and converted. When that time comes to enter heaven, angels

will come for you, and you will make it to heaven.

Quotes from Pastor (Dr) W. F. Kumuyi

The moment you put a question mark on God’s word, you open the door to unbelief, and

unbelief shuts the door to blessings.

Fear came because he (Adam) had lost the covering of righteousness. You may wear the

finest clothes on earth, but without the robe of righteousness, you are naked before God,

the angels, and all of heaven.

Make no excuse. If you’ve sinned, admit it. Don’t blame your parents, your friends, or

even the devil. Take responsibility.

When death wants to come, it sends sickness ahead like a forerunner—little by little,

pushing people toward the grave.

If there are ancestral laws or curses in your family or community, don’t worry. Christ is

greater and mightier than those forces. He offers you freedom.

When the Lord cancels every curse in your life and blesses you on earth, He will also

give you everlasting blessings.

When you look to your left or right, the horizon stretches far beyond what you can reach.

No matter how far you walk, the horizon remains unreachable, so it is with your sins.

Once you transfer your sins to Christ, they are removed from you as far as the east is

from the west

If you feel convicted of your sins after reading this message outline, pause and say

this simple prayer of faith for your salvation and forgiveness of sin:

“Father, thank You for revealing my true state through Your Word. I

acknowledge my sins and recognize that Jesus died and rose again for my

redemption. I repent and put my faith in Jesus' sacrifice. Thank you for saving
