WARFARE OF THE MIND

If you defeated in your mind, you're defeated for life. Who told you that that marriage is not possible for you? When do you conclude that your life is a waste? Who told you that there's no hope? Why do you come in conclusion that your case is hard to handle?

I have receive complains of people who are battered; who doesn't think there's a way out. Many of them believe that their case is the worse on Earth. By the way, who told you that? See, no problem you're passing through right now that somebody haven't encounter. So of the things you call problems and circumstances are somebody's breakthrough. You ought to search out.

I've come with a similitude of heart this morning to call to your remembrance that Satan doesn't fight fare. The mind is his battle ground. And remember, if you win in your mind, you've won in the soul. And if you lose, you're lost on the soul.

It's a tabor for a christain to be perturbed by Satanic strategy and truma. God in his word has given us tips on how to overcome this type of circumstances. 

Our mind is a real instrument for God and Satan too.Phlm.1.14 But without thy mind would I do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly. this shows how important the mind is.

If we're defeated, it must first start from the mind. My lecturer once told me how he was traveling one day. While on the bike he heard a voice in his mind that says "you'll have accident and die today". When he heard it, he knew immediately that that was satanic thought. Then he used the word of God to encounter the voice. Unfortunately, within 5 minutes a car from no where hit his bike and they summersaulted. 

But he stood realizing he had no injury. So he told us that if he didn't subdued that voice immediately, that accident would've been an enormous trauma to him.

That shows how life and death can come through a thought. Have you heard before that you won't make it? Have you heard that your marriage won't last? Have you heard that God cannot use you? Have you heard that you're going to be barren? Have you heard that you won't succeed in that business or career? Have you heard you will die by accident? If so, this is an opportunity for you to begin to silence those words right now.

See, when you allow those thoughts to take root in your mind, it enter your soul and once it's in the soul, you're defeated. Satan like I said before doesn't fight fare. I remember when everything was in chaos. Everybody was mocking me because I said that God called me. Nobody believed in me. It took the hand of God to deliver me from loneliness and outcasted.

From that day till date, I'm gladly dwelling on the divine intervention and direction. People are even admiring me now. Some said they want to be like me. But that's not how it was 3 years ago. People wants to associate with me now than then; because they've seen the hand of God working.

There are only two steps I can prescribe for you if you actually want to get rid of evil thought and imagination. This step is scriptural and proven. It's left in your hands on how to use it. But before I prescribe lets read something in the scripture.

Prov.23.7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee. (KJV)

When a man come to this faith he becomes a reprobate because what is going on the inside we reflect outside. I studied and I found out that man lives the why he thinks. Even insecure people has the same mindset. They're normally bent on the mind. But if you're reading this and Satan have find a lip hole to torment you in mind; let it break!. I say let it break now in Jesus name!

✓Things That Happens In Our Thoughts

1. Insecurity comes from mind.

2. Setbacks comes from the mind.

3. 80% of barren woman was firstly infested by their thoughts.

4. Depression comes from the mind.

5. Frustration comes from the mind.

6. Hatred comes from the mind.

7. Defeat comes from the mind.

8. Stagnation at times comes from the mind.

9. Lust comes from the mind.

10. Pride of life comes from the mind.

11. Insufficiency comes from the mind.

12. Fears comes from the mind.

13. Anxiety comes from the mind.

14. Murdering comes from the mind.

And many more..

Like I said before, it's not possible that Satan won't bring thought but are you willing to subject it to higher authority. We're living in a world where every of our actions are manipulated. That's why we ought to be careful to scrutinise our mind for God to use it, not just once but every day.

✓Ways To Bring Evil Thought Down.

1. Casting the Thoughts down.

Casting down simply means rejecting the Thought. You know Satan can introduce Thoughts to your mind, so your duty is to cast all those thoughts down.

2Cor.10.4 We use God's mighty weapons, not mere worldly weapons, to knock down the Devil's strongholds. (NLT)

2Cor.10.5 With these weapons we break down every proud argument that keeps people from knowing God. With these weapons we conquer their rebellious ideas, and we teach them to obey Christ. (NLT)

If you read previously verse before 4, you'd notice that our modern day warfare isn't fight with physical weapons. It's the duty of a child of God to take charge and nullify those thoughts. Whenever you entertain them, you're opening doors and windows for demonic attack on your life.

2. Mediating On The Word Of God

Using scripture as your daily anchor for living, it'll be hard to Satan to catch you. It's because you've taken it in heart to decimate those thoughts. If really you are, believe in God and holy ghost to do his work

Josh.1.8 Study this Book of the Law continually. Meditate on it day and night so you may be sure to obey all that is written in it. Only then will you succeed. (NLT)

Study to show yourself approve unto God. Mediating on the word daily. The one thing about rabbi in Israel up till now is the possession of those instructions God gave Joshua. If you see them, they always mediate on the scripture. Morning, afternoon and night. This is actually the duty of a good child of God. We ought to meditate daily on his word and his promises concerning our lives.

I won't conclude without telling you that God is obligated in changing our lives but his capacity of changing is based on how we operate sometimes; we limits him. If we open up to God and short down those voices that are not from him, we will have a victorious life. How can I know evil thought or demonic thought; by checking whether they contradict the word of God. 

If your thoughts contradict the word of God and your betterment for life, it means it comes from Satan and demons.
