I personally don't like boarding, your child become a total stranger to you because you can no longer define him or her except by special grace of God

I went to a boarding school, and i am definitely not sending my child to a boarding school, boarding school life made me understand just how much a child needs a Parent, during the teen stage of life
I went to a boarding school too and one key thing I took out of it is "independence". A child learns to be independent. But just as it has an advantage, it also has disadvantages. My child isn't going to any boarding school
Yeah true, the Independence thing was great, I have been taking care of myself since i was 11 (supposedly... lol). I think it gave me my added sense of responsibility

Choosing between boarding and day school depends on your child’s needs and family circumstances. Boarding schools offer a structured environment, independence, and immersive learning but mean time away from home. Day schools allow students to stay with family, offering flexibility and closer parental support. Consider factors like academic focus, extracurricular opportunities, and your child’s personality before deciding.
